Welcome to Every Craft, we aim to explore and explain every craft. There will be loads of handy hints and ideas.

First off, see pictures of stones crocheted with covers. These stones are brilliant for using when you are wanting to cut out paper patterns to weight them down. Instead of using pins, use these stones to hold down patterns. This is especially helpful when using vintage patterns without damaging them.

If you want to have a go at making your own here are Ms Vivianne's handy hints.

1 Use a doily crochet pattern and adjust to form dome.

2 When big enough to cover top of stones put loops round edge and then lace on back.

3 You can use this technique on shells, wood, anything that takes your fancy. Apparently it is illegal  to take stones off a beach, Who knew!

These crocheted stones were created by Ms Vivianne.

Annie has set up this blog as a meeting area for craft people to exchange information and ideas with like minded souls.
